The New Mutants make their last stand against the Omega classed "Legion". Karma is still stuck in his head trying to protect a little girl named Marci. Illyana has also teleported herself into Legions Psyche and is trying to kill as many of Legions personalities as possible.

On the physical plane, the Mutants are having a hard time in dealing with the personalities who have taken over Legions body. Finding out that no matter what they throw at him, he has the power to counter act it. All of this on top of the fact that Sam and Dani are arguing because he ordered her away from the battlefield.
